Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor in Oral Health

AUT is seeking an experienced senior academic on a permanent, full-time capacity in the Department of Oral Health, based on the North Shore Campus in Auckland, New Zealand.
The Department of Oral Health within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences was established in 2002. The main focus of the department is to provide education through a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health which combines dental therapy and hygiene practice. Oral Health research is also important within the department and there are projects currently underway in the areas of risk factors for oral health disease, and health promotion.
The successful candidate will have strong teaching and research interests and clear potential to make a senior contribution to academic programme development, emerging research capacity and to fostering links with relevant community health agencies.
AUT is looking for candidates from a range of oral health areas but particularly with expertise in educational leadership and all aspects of dental practice. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates may be considered for appointment as an Associate Professor or Professor, and/or as Head of Oral Health.
