Professor Gregory Larkin has been appointed to the position of the Lion Foundation Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Auckland. Greg is currently Professor of Emergency Medicine at Yale University, School of Medicine, and has over two decades of experience in clinical emergency medicine in the USA. He was the first full professor in Emergency Medicine in the history of Yale University. Over the last years as Chief of International Emergency Medicine, Greg has developed his research interests towards Emergency Medicine in other countries, and became acquainted with New Zealand.
