Liz Baré

Liz Baré is a well known senior executive in the University sector and has agreed to work with Academic Search International from 2010. Liz has developed well rounded expertise in all aspects of HR management, with specific expertise in higher education, focused among others on:
- Developing and implementing new job classification structures, policy across all aspects of human resources management, new academic probation and promotion, reward and evaluation processes, and new performance appraisal and development schemes in three organisations
- Developing unique and sustainable academic leadership programs
- Managing major restructures and change of academic and administrative units
- Creating new executive remuneration and reward structures
- Executive recruitment
- Coaching academic leaders
She has now headed the human resource function in three different organisations. Her longest appointment was as Vice-Principal (Human Resources) at the University of Melbourne. She and her colleagues have developed the function at the University from a personnel function to a well regarded human resources division. Liz is also a founding member and Chair of the Group of Eight HR Directors Group which has both coordinated labour relations nationally and acted as a pressure group to change policy on human resources management and labour relations.
